Vucic welcomes Pendarovski at Prohor Pcinjski

VRANJE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic welcomed North Macedonian President Stevo Pendarovski at Prohor Pcinjski near Vranje, southern Serbia, on Wednesday.

The two presidents will first visit the monastery of St Prohor Pcinjski - where they will lay a wreath - and then hold a meeting.

Tourist visits in Serbia up by 4.7 pct y-o-y in June

BELGRADE - Serbia registered 4.7 pct more tourist visits in June 2023 relative to the same month of last year and the number of overnight stays was up by 0.9 pct, according to figures released by the national statistical office.

Overnight stays generated by Serbian tourists were down by 5.6 pct y-o-y, while those generated by foreign tourists were up by 10.4 pct y-o-y.

RTÜK initiates probe into Disney for canceling 'Atatürk' series

Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK) head Ebubekir Şahin has announced that an investigation into Disney+ will be launched over the broadcasting platform's cancellation of the TV series "Atatürk."

The watchdog has asked the platform to put forward their defense, Şahin informed in a statement on his Twitter account.
