EU facilitators' Brussels meeting with Vucic concludes

BRUSSELS - A bilateral meeting of EU foreign policy and security chief Josep Borrell and the EU special envoy for the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue Miroslav Lajcak with a Belgrade delegation headed by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic concluded in Brussels slightly after 10 am on Thursday.

Dinar-to-euro exchange rate at RSD 117.1976

BELGRADE - The Serbian dinar's official median exchange rate against the euro is 117.1976 dinars for one euro on Thursday, which is a slight change from Wednesday, the National Bank of Serbia said.

The dinar is steady against the euro m-o-m and up by 0.1 pct y-o-y and relative to the beginning of the year.

Vucic to pay one-day visit to Brussels Thursday

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic will be on a one-day visit to Belgium on Thursday.

Vucic will meet with EU foreign policy and security chief Josep Borrell and the EU's special envoy for the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue Miroslav Lajcak in Brussels and take part in the EU-facilitated dialogue, the presidential press office said in a statement.

VALJEVO - Serbian PM Ana Brnabic opened the third Hisense Europe plant in Valjevo on Wednesday, noting that the investment would create 1,020 jobs over the next three years.

Serbian inflation slows down further in August

BELGRADE - Serbian y-o-y inflation has slowed down further, amounting to 11.5 pct in August, in line with National Bank of Serbia (NBS) expectations, though the August reading is somewhat lower than the projection from the Inflation Report, the central bank said on Wednesday.
