Dinar-to-euro exchange rate at RSD 117.2079

BELGRADE - The Serbian dinar's official median exchange rate against the euro is 117.2079 dinars for one euro on Wednesday, which is a slight change from Tuesday, the National Bank of Serbia said.

The dinar is steady against the euro m-o-m and up by 0.1 pct y-o-y and relative to the beginning of the year.

Vucic: I have had many meetings in New York with nearly all European leaders

NEW YORK - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Tuesday evening he had had many meetings in New York with nearly all European leaders over the past two days, including with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and European Council President Charles Michel.

Vucevic: EU membership Serbia's foreign policy priority

BELGRADE - Serbian Deputy PM and Defence Minister Milos Vucevic received Norway's newly-appointed Ambassador to Belgrade Kristin Melsom on Tuesday.

He noted that EU membership was Serbia's foreign policy priority and that military neutrality was its strategic commitment, which he said was no obstacle to cooperation and forging good relations with all interested parties.

Serbia to face Great Britain in Davis Cup quarter-finals

LONDON - The Serbia men's national tennis team was on Tuesday drawn to play Great Britain in the quarter-finals of the Davis Cup Finals tournament.

The winner of the tie will face the Netherlands or Italy in the semi-finals.

The other two quarter-finals are Canada vs Finland and Czech Republic vs Australia.

The draw ceremony was held in London.

Lajcak discusses Western Balkans with Escobar, Chollet

NEW YORK - The EU special envoy for the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue and other Western Balkan issues Miroslav Lajcak said on Tuesday he and US special Western Balkans envoy Gabriel Escobar and State Department Counsellor Derek Chollet shared the same reading of the situation in the region and were on the same line on the way forward.

Dacic meets with FMs of 18 countries in New York

NEW YORK - On the first day of a visit to New York, Serbian First Deputy PM and FM Ivica Dacic held bilateral meetings with the FMs of 18 countries including Cyprus, Nepal, Armenia, Burkina Faso and the UAE on the sidelines of the 78th UN General Assembly session.
