Refugee crisis reflected at Cannes Film Festival

One of the main topics at this year's Cannes Film Festival seems to be the migrant issue. We have already seen two pictures on the topic and others will follow, among which one is the highly expected title of the year, Michael Haneke's "Happy End."

World famous actress Vanessa Redgrave arrived in Cannes to present her first film as its director at the age of 80. 

I Even Met Happy Gypsies to be honoured in Cannes

BELGRADE - Aleksandar Sasa Petrovic's I Even Met Happy Gypsies will be screened in the prestigious Cannes Classics programme of the upcoming Cannes Film Festival to honour the 50th anniversary of the cult film.

The Yugoslav Film Archive has made a special new copy of the film for the occasion.

Romanian Tribute | Athens | To April 12

The Astor Cinema is hosting a tribute to Romanian cinema, presenting the country's best recent films, through Wednesday, April 12. The daily screening program starts at 5.40 p.m. with Palme d'Or nominated "Graduation" by Cristian Mungiu, who shared the Best Director award at Cannes last year with Olivier Assayas. It is followed at 8 p.m.
