The raid on Kim Kardashian’s apartment has all the hallmarks of the Pink Panthers, a gang of super-criminals who have got away with tens of millions of pounds in jewels in high-profile heists since 1984. The gang, whose members mostly hail from Serbia and Montenegro, have stolen more than 280 million pounds.

Clooney opens Berlin film fest with spotlight on refugees
The 11-day Berlinale, one of the top three cinema showcases in Europe along with Cannes and Venice, kicks off with a screening of "Hail, Caesar!"George Clooney opened the Berlin film festival Feb. 11 with Europe's refugee influx in the spotlight, saying he would meet German Chancellor Angela Merkel about lending star power to help with the crisis.

Romanian Government Urged to Save Cinemas

29th Edition of Kinomania Cinema Festival to Take Place in Sofia on November 12-29
The 29th edition of the annual cinema festival Kinomania will take place at the National Palace of Culture (NDK) in the Bulgarian capital of Sofia between November 12 and 29.
The festival will show some of the major winners at this year's international film festivals in Berlin, Cannes, Venice, and others.
Flash floods in France kill at least 17 people
Four people were still missing on Oct.5 after flash floods on the French Riviera killed at least 17 people over the weekend, prompting the government to declare a natural disaster in the southeastern tourist region.
Some 5,000 homes were still without electricity on Oct.5 morning after as many as 70,000 suffered blackouts the previous evening.
