Wooden chairs to replace armchairs for town's officials
The local assembly of the town of Jagodina has decided to sell armchairs used by local officials and donate the money raised for "humanitarian purposes."
Instead of their armchairs, these officials will have to use "ordinary, wooden chairs," Tanjug reported on Wednesday.

JAGODINA - Serbian Deputy PM Ivica Dacic on Friday denied claims that "someone in the West" was seeking a change in the format of the Brussels dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, reiterating Belgrade was expecting it to resume but that it would not consent to topics outside the framework of status neutrality.

BELGRADE -- The Interior Ministry has incinerated about 446 kilograms of illegal narcotics and other psychoactive substances at the Nikola Tesla power plant in Obrenovac.
In a statement, the MUP said that the value of the drugs was around a billion Serbian dinars (RSD) - about EUR 8.3 million.

Gendarme jailed for 40 years in double murder case
KRALJEVO -- The Higher Court in Kraljevo has confirmed the 40-year prison sentence previously handed down to Aleksandar Krstic, who was charged with double murder.
Krstic, a resident of Kraljevo, was serving as a member of the Serbian police Gendarmerie unit at the time the crime was committed, in July 2013.
