National Theater to perform in Turkey
BELGRADE - Belgrade's National Theater will participate in the first International Balkan Countries' Theater Festival to be held in the Turkish city of Bursa on March 8-22, with their production of William Shakespeare's Henry VI, National Theater released on Thursday.
Besides the host country, the festival will gather theaters from Croatia, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Greece and Romania.

BELGRADE - Hamam Balkania by Vladislav Bajac translated into English by Randall Major has been published by London-based Istros Books, the Belgrade-based publishing house Arhipelag stated on Wednesday.
Istros Books is a UK publishing house dedicated to literature from south-eastern Europe.

Lengold's Fairground Magician to be presented in London
BELGRADE - The Fairground Magician by Jelena Lengold has been published in English, and as announced by the Belgrade-based publishing house Arhipelag, Lengold will stay in London from February 19-22 and take part in promotions of her book's English edition.

BELGRADE - The London-based European Athletics Coaches Association (EACA) has appointed Danijel Korica as deputy president for life.
Korica is also advisor to the president of the Sports Association of Serbia.

Painter Aleksandar Lukovic Lukijan dies
BELGRADE - Prominent painter and graphic artist Aleksandar Lukovic Lukijan died in Belgrade at the age of 91, the Museum of Contemporary Art released on Tuesday.
Lukovic was active for a number of years in the management of the Belgrade Graphic Collective and he also worked as professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Belgrade.
