Greek commuters have relatively long wait
Commuters in Athens and Thessaloniki wait for buses, trains and trams an average of 39 minutes a day though their counterparts in traffic-congested Rome have an even longer daily wait, according to a survey by Moovit, a mobile GPS application for public transport information and navigation, which found that travelers in Barcelona, Milan and Paris enjoy the most efficient transport services.

Football star Milan Galic passes away
BELGRADE - Milan Galic, Serbian and Yugoslav football legend, has died suddenly at the age of 76 in Belgrade.
Galic, who passed away on Saturday, began his brilliant football career at FK Proleter in Zrenjanin. He made himself a big name during his years with FK Partizan from Belgrade.

Tanaskovic, Rodic take up offices as ambassadors
BELGRADE - Darko Tanaskovic has been appointed new permanent delegate of the Republic of Serbia to UNESCO in Paris by a decree of Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic.
President Nikolic signed the decrees on the appointment of ambassadors on September 11, and they entered into force on Friday.
