TIRANA - The Tourist Organization of Belgrade has brought together tourism companies from the Serbian capital and organized the first promotion of Belgrade for the Albanian market, a TOB statement said.

"Sacrifice" by Edi Rama published in Serbia
Samizdat has published a book “Sacrifice“ by Edi Rama, who was one of the protagonists of bringing down communist regime.
He was elected Tirana Mayor by a convincing majority as he based his program on the clear vision that the city can and have to solve massive usurpations and devastations.

Greek-Albanian exchange of non-papers on ‘Cham’ matter causes uproar!
Revelations made by the Albanian Foreign Minister Ditmir Bushati that Greece and Albania had exchanged non-papers on the issue of ‘Tsamouria’, lands located in a region of western Greece that Albanian argues belong to citizens of Albanian descent who had been expelled from the area after collaborating with nazi-occupying forces in the second world war, have caused an uproar.
Chams issue stirs controversy
Brussels sought to downplay comments by European Commissioner for European Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn, who lumped the claims by the Cham community in Albania along with other disputes in the negotiations between Tirana and Athens, saying the matter was "blown out of proportion."

A bust representing the leader of the Roman Catholic Church, Pope Francis, has been installed in the center of Tirana, Albania.
Albanian agency ATA is reporting that the unveiling ceremony was attended by state and religious dignitaries and citizens.

Albanian Opposition Fined for Protest Damage
The municipality of Tirana is demanding damages from the opposition Democratic Party for damaging state institutions and a bunker in Tuesday's protest.
The municipality said it sought 118,000 euros for damage caused in the different parts of the city during the violent unrest.
