EasyJet to link Zakynthos island with Stansted airport
ΕasyJet airline has decided to add a flight between the Greek island of Zakynthos in the Ionian Sea and Stansted Airport in London to its Greek destinations this summer, the airline announced on Thursday.
With the addition of the new flight, Zakynthos will now have a direct link to two London airports, Stansted and Gatwick.
Policeman injured in PKK attack succumbs to wounds
A special operations officer who was wounded in an outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) attack on Feb. 5 has succumbed to his injuries at the Gülhane Military Medical Academy (GATA) where he was being treated.
The officer, identified as 41-year-old Kemal Y?lmaz, was wounded in a PKK attack in the southeastern province of ??rnak's Cizre province.

Two Syrian children killed after fire erupts in Istanbul apartment
Two Syrian children were killed and two residents wounded when a fire erupted at an apartment in Istanbul's Zeytinburnu district early on Feb. 12.
The fire started at 4:30 a.m. at Güler Apartment in Zeytinburnu's Ye?ilyol and spread to a flat inhabited by a Syrian family of six.

Spray painted tomb to be cleaned by experts
Spray-painted names and hearts on the walls of the historic Berberkaya tomb in the northwestern province of Bursa's ?znik district will be cleaned by a team of experts. The tomb, which dates back to the Bithynia civilization in 149 B.C., is made of basalt rock and located on a slope close to the district's Lefke Gate.
