Vucic: Linglong plant in Zrenjanin largest-ever greenfield investment in Serbia
ZRENJANIN - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Friday a Linglong tyre factory in Zrenjanin, northeastern Serbia, was by far the largest-ever greenfield investment in the country and that 1,235 Serbian workers had been hired already in the first stage of the plant's operations.

A11, an NGO dealing with violations of workers' rights, said that private security men arrived at the construction site for a factory for Chinese tyre manufacturer Shandong Linglong Tire in the city of Zrenjanin on Tuesday and began blocking access to Vietnamese workers who have been the focus of exploitation allegations this week.

"Before the end of the year, we will start building the sewerage system on the left bank of the Danube," said Aleksandar Vui on that occasion, adding that the necessary documentation for that project is now being completed.
"It will be a big and most important project, but we found the money and we will start with it soon," said Vucic.

Challis does not specify where exactly the mural is located, but thinks that the work is great and represents a real piece of art.
The painting that occupies an entire wall shows Del Boy, Rodney and Uncle Albert, together with the unavoidable quote: "This time next year, we'll be millionaires", written in Serbian.
Linglong makes EUR 800mn investment, to create 1,200 jobs
This is the largest investment in Vojvodina worth more than EUR 800 million and that the whole Serbia will have huge profits from that factory, the president said, according to the Serbian government.
