Main opposition leader meets EU ambassadors in Ankara
Main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu met with the ambassadors of EU member countries in Ankara on Feb. 2.
Following the meeting, CHP Deputy Chairman Öztürk Yılmaz and Christian Berger, the head of the EU Delegation to Turkey, held a joint press conference to discuss the meeting.

18 People Arrested for Car Bomb in Turkey's Izmir
18 people have been arrested for the bomb attack in the city of Izmir on Thursday.
The authorities are convinced that this is the work of the terrorist organisation Kurdistan Workers' Party, stated the Justice Minister Bekir Bozdağ, cited by Reuters.
One policeman and one justice worker were killed, while 7 people - three policemen and 4 civilians were injured.

Merkel set to visit Turkey next week
German Chancellor Angela Merkel will visit Turkey next week with representatives from the European Union, German government spokesperson Steffen Seibert said on April 15.
Speaking to journalists, Seibert said European Council President Donald Tusk and European Commission First Vice-President Frans Timmermans will accompany Merkel during her visit on April 23.
