Shipowner George Prokopiou acquires stake in Astera Vouliagmenis
According to unconfirmed reports, shipowner George Prokopiou has reached an agreement to acquire a stake exceeding 30% in Astera Vouliagmenis.
It is currently unclear whether this stake pertains to the Turkish Dogus participation (33%) or if it involves a share from the Arab owners, with discussions indicating that the price is around 300 million euros.
Istanbul Modern opens new museum building
The new building and exhibitions of Istanbul Modern, Türkiye's first modern and contemporary art museum, has opened on May 4. The official opening ceremony of the museum will be held later.

Istanbul’s Galataport to open next year
New cruise ship port, Galataport, which is being developed jointly by Doğuş Group and Bilgili Holding in Istanbul's Karaköy district along 1,200 meters of coastline, will welcome its first cruise ship in April 2020.

New chief appointed to TÜV SÜD Turkey
Emre Büyükkalfa has been appointed as the new CEO of TÜV SÜD Turkey, the company said in a statement on Sept. 22.

Turks are welcome back to Greece
So this is what happened: we are going to shoot a movie in the summer, so I won't have time to have a holiday, so I thought about going to Kemer on the Mediterranean coast. It rained in Kemer. Then I heard that there was too much wind in the Aegean town of Çeşme. Then I learned that the sea is icy in Bodrum. I did not feel like going to Dubai.

Festival boosts Cappadocia tourism
