Koç Holding's automotive arm starts hatchback model's production of Aegea family

Tofa?, a joint venture of Turkey's Koç Holding and Italy's Fiat Chrysler, has started the production of a hatchback model of its Aegea family (dubbed Egea in Turkish) in the northwestern province of Bursa on April 12 in a ceremony with Koç Holding Chairman Ömer Koç, senior officials and Tofa? employees.

Turkey-based automotive giant set to sell new sedan to America

Tofa?, a joint venture of Turkey's Koç Holding and Italy's Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA), is set to sell the Fiat Aegea sedan to the Americas.  

The Fiat Aegea, which is manufactured in the Tofa? facility in the northwestern province of Bursa, will be exported to the Mexican market in the initial stage under the name of "Dodge Neon." 

Workers go on strike at Renault in Turkey over layoffs

Workers at the French car giant Renault's factory in the northwestern Turkish province of Bursa went on strike on March 1, after 10 of their colleagues were laid off. 

Some 150 workers at Oyak Renault, a joint venture between Renault and the Turkish army pension fund Oyak, arrived at the factory on the morning on March 1 but did not start working.
