Berlin's Turks stoked for Euros quarter-final 'home game'
Members of Berlin's large Turkish community have vowed to paint the town red when their team comes to the German capital to play the Netherlands in Euro 2024 on July 6.
"The atmosphere will be like a home game for us," said Muhammet Ali Sevilmiş, 36, who runs a phone repair shop in Berlin's Kreuzberg district.
Automotive sector driving force behind Türkiye’s exports

Some 96,000 landlord-tenant disputes settled via mediation
More than 96,000 disputes between landlords and tenants were settled through the mandatory mediation scheme, data from the Justice Ministry have shown.
Mandatory mediation for rentals was introduced in September last year. Over the past 9 months, mediators have received a total of 191,276 disputes over rents and managed to resolve 96,461 cases.
Natural gas imports down nearly 8 percent in 2023
Türkiye's natural gas imports declined by 7.64 percent in 2023 from the previous year, data from the Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK) has shown.
Last year Türkiye bought 50.48 billion cubic meters of natural gas with Russia being the largest supplier. Russia's share in the country's natural gas import was 42.27 percent, said EPDK.

Inflation expectations continue to decline in June
Inflation expectations for the end of 2024 declined from 43.64 percent in May to 43.52 percent in June, the Central Bank's Survey of Market Participants has shown.
The 12-month ahead inflation expectations also eased from 33.21 percent to 31.79 percent.
