Elevated food prices hit families in Argentina
Inflation has been a problem across the world but Argentina is second in a World Bank ranking of countries with the highest food inflation, at 107 percent over the last year.
It's topped only by Lebanon, with a whopping 352 percent.

Argentine artists commemorate Turkish poet Aşık Veysel
Buenos Aires Yunus Emre Institute has brought together Argentine artists in a project to commemorate highly-regarded Turkish folk poet Aşık Veysel with his poems on the 50th anniversary of his death.
Within the scope of the project carried out by the institute, musicians performed the work of the great artist "Uzun İnce Bir Yoldayım" with their local instruments.

IMF board approves $5.4 bn for cash-strapped Argentina
The International Monetary Fund's (IMF) executive board has announced a $5.4 billion disbursement to Argentina, part of a $44 billion loan program as the South American nation faces a severe economic panorama.
Argentina is the target of the largest assistance program currently under IMF implementation.
Biden, Fernandez affirm ‘economic integration’
U.S. President Joe Biden on March 29 hailed an "enormous opportunity" to increase economic integration with Argentina as he hosted the South American country's President Alberto Fernandez at the White House.
"This meeting is a chance to reaffirm that nothing is beyond our reach if we work together," Biden said seated next to his counterpart in the Oval Office.
