Liberal party leader Lars Lokke Rasmussen was appointed Danish prime minister on June 28 and named ministers in a government that has a small minority in parliament and will have to rely heavily on outside support on a vote by vote basis.
Summer tourists: Habits of European travelers
A clear seasonal pattern of tourism activity of residents of the European Union by Eurostat shows that June-Septeber accounts for more than half (51.9%) of the total number of tourism nights spent by EU residents during the whole year. A little more than 60% of these nights were spent in their own country (domestic) while almost 40% were abroad.

Turkey ranked 10th cheapest country in Europe
Turkey became Europe's 10th cheapest country in terms of goods and services in 2014, the Turkish Statistics Institute (TÜ?K) said in a written statement on June 25.
The comparisons were made between prices in the 28 EU member countries, Switzerland, Iceland, Turkey, Macedonia, Serbia, Albania and Bosnia Herzegovina.
