PAME to hold Obama protest rally on November 15

The KKE-affiliated PAME trade union has announced that it will hold a rally in central Omonia Square to protest the visit to Athens by US President Barack Obama on November 15.

"The government's support of imperialistic interventions, its willingness to create a new NATO base on Karpathos, the deepening of relations with the murderous state of Israel, do not lead to 'stability' and 'security,'" the union said in a statement, adding that Greek workers must remain vigilant in the face of the imperialistic struggle between the US and Russia, instability in Turkey and the general volatility in the region.
