Ivanovic eases into Wimbledon third round

LONDON - Serbia's Ana Ivanovic advanced to the third round of Wimbledon after a convincing 6-4, 6-0 win over Jie Zheng of China on Thursday.

The mentally stronger Ivanovic recorded three breaks of serve in the first set after which Zheng did not have the strength to stage a comeback.

Ivanovic will next face either Sabine Lisicki of Germany or Karolina Pliskova of the Czech Republic.
