Alexi Giannoulias could run for Chicago mayor, reports say

Greek American politician Alexi Giannoulias might be recruited to run for Chicago mayor in 2027, according to reports. 

NBC 5 Chicago political reporter Mary Ann Ahern revealed on social media platform X that influential figures in Chicago's unions, business circles, and civic community are actively encouraging Giannoulias to consider a mayoral bid in the February 2027 election.
