The man who changed the face of the tyres industry is no longer with us

Always humble and ever enterprising in life, Francois Michelin is no longer with us.

The 88 year-old Francois held the family company’s reigns for more than half a century, which was enough to turn the medium-sized business into a worldwide colossus of industry which became a hallmark around the globe.

He will be missed and thanked by many generations to come for his innovations and works.
