Bulgaria President Condemns Prosecution’s Crime Suspicions
Bulgaria's President, Rumen Radev, on Wednesday condemned prosecution claims that he may have committed a crime related to conflicts of interest, accusing it devaluing important legal concepts and of "sensationalism".
It comes after the state prosecution led by Ivan Geshev on January 28 said it had evidence that a crime may have occurred.

Turkey marks 95th anniversary of first flight
Turkey on Jan. 28 commemorated the 95th anniversary of its first flight by pilot Vecihi Hürkuş.
Hürkuş, who was also an aviation engineer, started constructing the Vecihi K-VI aircraft in 1923.
Two years later, he made his maiden flight on the plane across Turkey's Aegean province of İzmir.

Taiwan's military chief killed in helicopter crash
Taiwan's military chief was killed when an air force helicopter crashed near the capital on Jan. 2, the local media reported.
Chief of General Staff Shen Yi-ming and Air Force Commander Hsiung Hou-chi were among eight people aboard killed in the crash, the news agency Focus Taiwan reported, citing the National Defense Ministry.

Chile's Air Force: We have located something
A military plane with 38 people on board disappeared on Monday from the radar. The Air Force concluded the aircraft must have crashed early the next morning, given that in any case the plane would run out of fuel.
The plane disappeared in a remote area above the frigid sea between South America and the Antarctic.

A Helicopter Crashed in Afghanistan, Leaving 7 Dead
At least seven servicemеn in Afghanistan have been killed after the helicopter they were traveling with crashed, AFP reported.
According to the Afghan Ministry of Defense, the air force's MI-17 helicopter crashed due to "technical faults".
"All the seven crew members including four pilots were martyred in the incident," the ministry said in a statement.
