Dragasakis: Undertaxation, private sector to blame for the crisis
Deputy Prime Minister Yiannis Dragasakis has responded to accusations leveled against the government about overtaxing the Greeks, claiming that Greece defaulted because of undertaxation in previous years, while also placing the biggest part of the blame for the crisis on the private sector.

Moscovici: A staff level agreement crucial for talks to move forward
Arriving at a staff-level deal in order to complete the second review of Greece’s programme prior to the December 5 Eurogroup meeting was crucial, European Commissioner for Economic and Financial Affairs Pierre Moscovici said in Athens on Monday. He stressed that if this was achieved talks on Greece’s debt could commence and efforts to resolve the crisis could bear fruits.
Moscovici to visit Athens Monday, Tuesday
Pierre Moscovici, the European Commissioner for Economic and Financial Affairs, was expected to visit Athens on Monday and Tuesday.
Moscovici's Athens two-day agenda included meetings with Greek PM Alexis Tsipras, Finance Minister Euclid Tsakalotos, Economy Minister Dimitris Papadimitriou and Labor Minister and Social Insurance Minister Effie Achtsioglou.

Moscovici set to travel to Athens for conference
European Commissioner for Economic Affairs Pierre Moscovici is coming to Athens on Monday to participate in the 27th Annual "The Greek Economy" Conference of the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce, titled "Greece and the Global Disruptive Environment: A Look in to the Future," which takes place on November 28 and 29 at the InterContinental Athenaeum Hotel.
