Constitutional Review Committee to vote on Wednesday
Parliament's Constitutional Review Committee is due on Wednesday to vote on the entirety of the proposals submitted by Greece's political parties and lawmakers after the government and the opposition clashed over the final set of proposed changes.

Police have launched an investigation into the deaths of a 34-year-old policeman and his 23-year-old girlfriend whose bodies were found in the former's home in Porto Heli, on the eastern coast of the Peloponnese.
According to the Athens-Macedonian News Agency, police are not treating the incident as a possible crime, though a coroner was to determine the cause of death.

Report highlights vandalism against Jewish sites
A memorial dedicated to the Jews of Kastoria in northern Greece who perished in the Holocaust was vandalized on Christmas Day, the Athens-Macedonian News Agency (ANA-MPA) reported on Wednesday. The unknown perpetrators reportedly sprayed both sides of the marble slab commemorating the event with black paint.

Greek police bust fuel fraud ring
A ring that imported chemicals from Bulgaria for the purpose of adulterating fuel was dismantled by the financial fraud squad of the Greek Police (ELAS) on Saturday.
Four people were charged with possessing, storing and trafficking petroleum products without a license, as well as violating customs regulations.

One injured as train rams car in Athens
A train smashed into a car early Saturday morning at the junction of the Konstantinoupoleos and Plataion streets in Athens, resulting in injuries to the driver of the vehicle.
According to the Athens-Macedonian News Agency, the incident occurred shortly before 7 a.m. and the driver was extracted from the battered car by a crew of nine firefighters.

Nobel Peace Prize winner to nominate Tsipras and Zaev for this year's award
Wided Bouchamaoui, the recipient of the 2015 Nobel Peace Prize for her participation in the Tunisia National Dialogue Quartet, will be nominating the prime ministers of Greece, Alexis Tsipras, and the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM), Zoran Zaev, for the next award, the Athens-Macedonian News Agency has reported.
Guard knifed outside Athens University student halls
A guard was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries on Saturday after being stabbed by an unidentified assailant outside the accommodation complex for Athens University students in the neighborhood of Zografou in the early hours.
Pupils may soon have option of learning Pontic Greek
