Tremor rattles Nisyros

A 4-magnitude earthquake was recorded early Tuesday morning in the sea off the island of Nisyros, the Athens National Observatory's Geodynamics Institute said.

The quake epicentre was located 31  km southwest of the island or 333 km east-southeast of Athens. No damages or injuries were reported.

Two tremors recorded off Kassos

Two earthquakes measuring 4.1 on the Richter scale were recorded on Thursday off the island of Kassos, the Athens National Observatory's Geodynamics Institute said.

The tremors were recorded at 10.18 a.m. and 10.24 a.m.

The first quake's epicentre was located in the sea region 28km west-southwest of the island, while the second was located 29km west-southwest of Kassos.
