"The Serbian movie will not be shown in our cinema," Cineplexx told news website CDM.

Miroljub Vujovic, a Serb wartime fighter who was convicted in Serbia of participating in killing some 200 prisoners from the Croatian town of Vukovar at the nearby Ovcara Farm in November 1991, has been granted early release based on the Belgrade Appeals Court's conclusion that his "resocialisation" is complete.

Belgrade Higher Court on Thursday found four former Serbian state security employees guilty after a retrial of the murder in 1999 of journalist and editor Slavko Curuvija, who was known for his opposition to the regime of Slobodan Milosevic.

"When I came to [daily newspaper] Borba in 1990, he was a reporter and political analyst, and known for writing a couple of pamphlets, one of which I remember was about the people from Goli Otok [political prison in Socialist Yugoslavia]," Gunjic recalled.

Belgrade Appeals Court has confirmed the verdict finding former Bosnian Serb ex-soldier Zeljko Maricic guilty of war crimes against civilians in the Kljuc municipality at the end of May 1992 and jailing him for two years.

Belgrade Appeals Court has increased the sentence handed down to former Bosnian Serb soldier Milan Dragisic from four to five years in prison for one killing and two attempted killings of civilians in the town of Bosanski Petrovac in north-western Bosnia and Herzegovina on September 20, 1992.

Belgrade Higher Court on Tuesday found Bosnian Serb ex-fighter Zeljko Budimir guilty after a retrial of beating up a Bosnian civilian and stealing his money in the village of Rejzovici in the Kljuc municipality in November 1992.

But the court acquitted Budimir of participating in the murders of the wife and mother-in-law of the Bosniak man, whose name was Ale Strkonjic.

Belgrade Appeals Court has reduced the sentences handed down to six men who were convicted of involvement in a war crime against civilians in Lovas in Croatia in October 1991, and acquitted two others who had been found guilty at their initial trial.

Belgrade Appeals Court has confirmed a verdict sentencing Nikola Vida Lujic, a former member of the Special Operations Unit, an elite Serbian special forces unit also known as the Red Berets, to eight years in prison for raping a Bosnian women in Brcko on June 20, 1992.

Belgrade Appeals Court has confirmed the verdict acquitting former Yugoslav Army brigade commander Pavle Gavrilovic of responsibility for the murders of Kosovo Albanian civilians in the village of Trnje/Terrne on March 25, 1999.

The court however upheld the conviction of his subordinate officer, Rajko Kozlina, sentencing him to 15 years in prison.
