GERB Set to Replace Bulgarian Interior Ministry's Chief Secretary
Chief Secretary Svetlozar Lazarov "has no qualities" to take the post at Bulgaria's Interior Ministry, a former head of the institution says.
Former Interior Minister Tsvetan Tsvetanov told public broadcaster BNT that Lazatov's appointment by the previous Parliament had been "a misunderstanding".
Car Accident Casualties Increase
In 2014 the number of casualties in traffic accidents in Bulgaria will most likely exceed 600, the chairperson of the Association of car accident victims Vladimir Todorov told the Focus news agency.
Since the beginning of the year on Bulgaria's roads died 571 people and more than 7000 have been injured, according to data of Bulgaria's Interior Ministry.

Bulgaria's Police Seizes 112 kg Of Heroin
A special police operation seized 112 kg of heroin, worth BGN 14 M, near the border with Turkey, said Bulgaria's Interior Ministry.
According to the report, on November 10 border police patrolling the area of the Shtit village near Svilengrad, noticed four large bags hidden in the thick shrubbery.
