Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos on Sunday condemned what he called "illegal and reckless" actions by China's air force last week against a Filipino military plane patrolling over a disputed South China Sea reef.

China's armed forces have simulated precision strikes against Taiwan on the second day of Chinese military exercises around the island. Taiwan's Ministry of Defense reported numerous flights by the Chinese air force, as well as monitoring China's missile forces, Reuters reported.

Taipei announced that it was not true that Chinese forces had approached the islands, reports Reuters.
China, which claims Taiwan as its territory, conducted military exercises around the island earlier this month following a visit to Taipei by U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

The Chinese air force is sending fighter jets and bombers to Thailand for a joint exercise with the Thai military on Sunday.

The training will include air support, strikes on ground targets and small- and large-scale troop deployment, the Chinese Defense Ministry said in a statement posted on its website.

This is happening a day after the visit of the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the US Congress, Nancy Pelosi, to Taipei, the world media reported, referring to the report of the state television CCTV.

For the second day in a row, a group of six military transport planes of the Chinese Air Force flew over Bulgaria in the direction of Belgrade. It is believed that this is a supply of anti-aircraft missile system HQ-22, reported De Re Militari.

This country is not internationally recognized, and China regards it as part of its territory.

At least 12 people have died in a military plane crash in the Guizhou province, China's Mornings Post reported today, citing sources from the Chinese Air Force. The crash happened on Monday during a training flight, but details have been announced now.
