Turkey, US to begin op for ISIL-free zone in Syria
Turkish Foreign Minister Feridun Sinirlio?lu confirmed to Hürriyet on Nov. 17 that NATO allies Ankara and Washington have agreed to stage a "joint operation" along Turkey's border with Syria, with sources saying this is the start of a previously announced bid to establish an "ISIL-free zone."

Turkey's presidency: No ground operation in Syria
Following Russia's intervention in Syria, now the U.S. announced last week that it will deploy troops in northern Syria. Two Syrian journalists murdered in Turkey's southeast
Two Syrian journalists have been murdered in Turkey's southeastern province of ?anl?urfa in what is presumed to be an attack by militants of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
?brahim Abdulkadir, managing editor at Syrian Ayn Vatan newspaper and Firaz Hamadi, a reporter for the same newspaper, had fled the conflict in Syria for ?anl?urfa, where they shared a flat.
Free Syrian Army groups say did not visit Moscow
Delegations from Free Syrian Army rebel groups did not visit Moscow, representatives of four factions fighting under the FSA banner told Reuters on Oct. 27, denying Russian news agency reports that such visits had taken place.
