Trade deficit widens by 8.7 percent during Jan-Sept period, says ELSTAT report
The total value of exports-dispatches in September 2014 came to 2285.8 million euros compared to 2504.5 million euros in September 2013, pointing to 8.7 percent drop, according to figures released by the Hellenic Statistical Authority, ELSTAT, on Tuesday. The corresponding change excluding oil products recorded a drop of 2 million euros (0.1 percent).

Industrial turnover posts 1.8 pct annual rise in September
The turnover of Greek industry climbed 1.8 percent in September compared to a year earlier thanks to an increase in sales both in the domestic and foreign markets.
This has contained annual losses in the 12 months from October 2013 to September 2014 to 3.6 percent, Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT) figures showed on Wednesday.

Prime Minister Antonis Samaras hailed statistical data released on Friday showing that Greece has exited a six-year recession, claiming that his government's pledges of growth had been realized and declaring that "Greece is back."
Unemployment drops to 25.9 percent in August
Greeces unemployment rate reached 25.9 percent in August, down from 26.1 percent recorded the previous month and 27.8 percent recorded in August, 2013, according to figures released by the Hellenic Statistical Authority, ELSTAT, on Thursday.

Land prices in Attica are still sliding

Greece exited recession in second quarter, says EU Commission
