From the Giza pyramids to the pharaonic tombs of Luxor, Egypt's ancient monuments are holding onto mysteries which researchers now aim to unravel with cutting edge technology.

Architects and scientists from Egypt, France, Canada and Japan will use modern infrared technology and advanced detectors to map four Egyptian pyramidsA group of Egyptian and foreign experts launched a new bid to unravel the "secrets" of the pyramids on Oct. 25, including a search for hidden chambers inside the four famed pharaonic monuments.
