Serbia Declares Emergency after Regional Floods
The Serbian Interior Ministry declared an emergency situation on Monday in the flood-affected Cacak, Lucani and Arilje municipalities.
There were also landslides caused by the deluge in the Bajina Basta municipality, where several homes were submerged and roads damaged.

Mild spell to end this weekend, snow and frost expected
The spell of mild weather Serbia that enjoyed this week will end on Saturday, the Hydro-Meteorological Institute (RHMZ) has warned.
Snowfall is expected then, while Sunday will be "a freezing day" - i.e., the temperature will not rise above zero degrees Celsius at any point during 24 hours.
Cold wave, first heavy snowfall of season hit Serbia
The weather will be cloudy and windy in Serbia on Monday, the Hydro-Meteorological Institute (RHMZ) announced this morning.
Snowdrifts could form in mountain areas due to strong winds, as well as in the lower Danube basin and in southern Banat, RHMZ said.
