Cold wave from Siberia to reach Serbia, region

The Hydro-Meteorological Institute (RHMZ) announced this on its website on Thursday.

There will be moderate to strong frost in the mornings, while the temperature will remain below zero around the clock.

The RHMZ issued a warning, saying that this cold wave will last at least five consecutive days in most parts of Serbia.

Snow possible in some areas of Serbia

The weather will continue to be cold and cloudy on Friday, with rain in some areas, and snow in mountain regions lying higher than 1,700 meters above sea level.

The Hydro-Meteorological Institute (RHMZ) announced this on Thursday, adding that the rain will stop on Friday afternoon in most parts of the country, while temperatures will range from 7 to 18 degrees Celsius.

Serbia to see temperatures up to 42 degrees Celsius

The RHMZ has warned about sunny and hot weather in Serbia through Saturday, with daily temperatures rising to over 35 degrees Celsius in most places.

These will reach over 40 degrees in central and southern parts of the country, and up to 42 degrees on Saturday, the RHMZ (Hydro-Meteorological Institute) announced on Wednesday.
