International Ephesus Opera

The 7th International Ephesus Opera and Ballet Festival, organized by the General Directorate of State Opera and Ballet (DOB), started on June 29 with a "Swan Lake" performance by the İzmir State Opera and Ballet on June 29 in the magnificent atmosphere of the Ephesus Ancient Theater.

The 4th International Ephesus Opera and Ballet Festival started on Aug 24 at the Ephesus Ancient Theater.

The opening performance of the event was Georges Bizet's ballet 'Carmen,' staged by the İzmir State Opera and Ballet with a new choreography.

Turkey's iconic Ephesus Theatre will reopen its doors for art-lovers following a three-year break due to restoration works and coronavirus.

The ancient theatre will host the 4th International Ephesus Opera and Ballet Festival.

The fourth International Ephesus Opera and Ballet Festival will be organized between Aug. 24 and Sept. 3.

According to a statement made by the General Directorate of State Opera and Ballet, the festival will be held this year in accordance with the COVID-19 measures.

The State Opera and Ballet is preparing to present the International Istanbul Opera Festival, the International Aspendos Opera and Ballet Festival, the International Ephesus Opera and Ballet Festival and the International Bodrum Ballet Festival to art lovers this summer by taking the COVID-19 measures strictly.

International Ephesus Opera and Ballet Festival is set to meet globally acknowledged performers with the audience in Turkey's Aegean coast.
