China Telecom interested in buying Telekom Srbija
China Telecom is interested in buying Serbia's state-owned telecommunications company Telekom Srbija (Serbia).
The first meeting has been held with representatives of this Chinese company at the Serbian government, said Tatjana Matic, state secretary at the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications.

Serbian government, Cisco sign MoU
The Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications and Cisco, a leading networking equipment manufacturer, on Thursday signed a memorandum of understanding.
The document "will make it possible to intensify the existing cooperation," according to Tanjug.

Ljajic:2014 saw record foreign exchange inflows from tourism
BELGRADE- Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajic told Tanjug Friday that 2014 had seen a record USD 1.139 billion tourist inflow of foreign exchange in Serbia.
Serbia and China sign 13 agreements and memorandums
BELGRADE - Delegations of Serbia and China have signed 13 agreements and memorandums regarding infrastructure, transport, finances, agriculture and telecommunications.
The agreement on economic and technical cooperation between the two governments was signed on Wednesday by National Bank of Serbia Governor Jorgovanka Tabakovic and China Development Bank head Hu Huaibang.

Telfor telecommunications conference opens in Belgrade
BELGRADE - Telfor 2014, the region's biggest telecommunications conference, with over 1,000 applicants from 27 countries, opened in Belgrade on Tuesday.
Over the next three days, it will feature seminars, presentations of scientific papers and books, as well as debates and panels on current topics in the field.
Belgrade Gastro Fest to be held on October 16-19
BELGRADE - In collaboration with the Diplomatic Association of Serbia, the Culinary Federation of Serbia will organise the first Belgrade Gastro Fest on October 16-19 at the Belgrade Fair, the organisers announced on Thursday.
"The Balkan gastronomic spectacle" will feature 500 Serbian and international professionals in the field, they said in a statement.

Serbia to get digital TV signal by 2015
