Lowest exchange rate in 2014 - RSD 116.4267 for EUR 1
BELGRADE - Serbian dinar continues its two-day decline against the euro by dropping another 0.2 percent or 18 paras on Tuesday and reaching the medium exchange rate of EUR 1 = RSD 116.4267, which is the lowest value of the dinar against the euro in the course of this year, the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) stated in a release.
PKS: Reserves to purchase 100,000 tons of 2014 wheat crop
BELGRADE - The Serbian Chamber of Commerce (PKS) made a proposition to the government on Friday to ensure the funds and impose an obligation on the Republic Directorate for Commodity Reserves to purchase at least 100,000 tons of wheat from this year's crop at the price not less than RSD 20 per kilogramme, VAT free.

NBS forex reserves at EUR 11.35 billion in May
BELGRADE - The National Bank of Serbia's (NBS) foreign exchange (forex) reserves stood at EUR 11.35 billion in May, the NBS Statistical Bulletin notes.
This is a rise when compared to the level in April when they amounted to EUR 11.27 billion, and a drop in comparison to January this year when they totaled EUR 11.95 billion.
