Did Erdoğan signal a new dialogue process with the PKK?
Before denouncing the EU as an "alliance of crusaders" that keeps "lying to Turkey" on April 2 in Ankara, President Tayyip Erdoğan was in the southeastern city of Diyarbakır on April 1 as a part of his "Yes" campaign for the April 16 on shifting the country to an executive presidential system.
They could have prevented the coup
Special Forces Commander Gen. Zekai Aksakallı, as a witness in the case regarding the shooting of noncommissioned officer Ömer Halisdemir, said the first measure to be taken in a crisis in the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) is to give the order, "No personnel to leave the barracks!"

Couldn't the July 15 coup attempt be prevented?
In an indictment into the Fethullahist Terrorist Organization (FETÖ), three statements taken from the Second Chief of General Staff Yaşar Güler being regarded as a "victim" have been included. His first statement was taken on July 19, 2016 and its content was published on papers.

Iraqi Kurdish leader meets president, PM
Iraqi Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) President Massoud Barzani met Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım on Feb. 27 to discuss the struggle against the Islamic state of Iraq and the Levant (ISL) in Iraq and Syria, Turkey's support for the KRG in overcoming its economic crisis, the presence of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) in Iraq's Sinjar region, as well as energy issues.

Turkish PM Yıldırım meets German chancellor, Azerbaijani president
Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım has held talks with the German chancellor and Azerbaijani president in Munich on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference on Feb. 18.
Yıldırım first met with German Chancellor Angela Merkel on Feb. 18, for a breakfast meeting in Munich.
While the meeting was closed to the press, it lasted around 50 minutes.
Turkish President Erdoğan pays Umrah visit in Saudi Arabia
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan conducted the Umrah while in Saudi Arabia on Feb. 15, state-run Anadolu Agency has reported.
Erdoğan visited the al-Masjid an-Nabawi, a religious site that includes Prophet Muhammad's grave in Medina.
Erdoğan subsequently traveled to Mecca, where he visited the Masjid al-Haram late on Feb. 15.

Security forces in the southern province of Adana have foiled a potential Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) terror attack targeting Europe with the arrest of two suspected militants who were preparing a "sensational" attack, state-run Anadolu Agency has reported.
'New day in Turkey-US ties,' Pence tells PM Yıldırım
U.S. Vice President Mike Pence told Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım over the phone on Feb. 9 that Turkish-U.S. relations were entering a "new day," as the new director of the CIA, Mike Pompeo, was also in Ankara as part of his first overseas trip since taking office.
CIA chief in Turkey for key talks
The new director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), Mike Pompeo, arrived in Ankara on Feb. 9, following a phone call between President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and U.S. President Donald Trump as part of a bid to launch a fresh beginning in bilateral ties.
