Bulgaria: Marijuana Farm Found in Lukovit, Three Men Arrested

Officers of the National Police General Directorate found a large and modern laboratory for marijuana cultivation and drugs production in the village of Rumyantsevo near Lukovit, northern Bulgaria. In a luxury house the police found numerous plants and a large amount of finished products.

Three men have been arrested.

Bulgarian Road Police Launches 5-Day Operation “Resorts”

Officers of the Search division of the National Police General Directorate identified a 27-year-old Serbian national wanted internationally, said the Ministry of the Interior press office. The man was arrested yesterday in Sofia. A Red Notice was issued against him in 2017 for human trafficking crimes committed in the Republic of Serbia.

29 Guest Houses in Kyustendil Area Inspected by Economic Police

Some 29 guest houses on the territory of the region are being inspected by the Economic Police, the press office of the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior - Kyustendil told Focus Radio - Kyustendil. Part of the funds for the construction of theses guest houses were provided under the Rural Development Programme.
