The Onassis Cultural Center in Athens will be staging Michael Frayn's classic British farce "Noises Off" in a Greek adaptation from October 10 to 27. Directed by Ektoras Lygizos, the play stars Konstantinos Avarikiotis, Michalis Kimonas, Giannis Klinis, Sofia Kokkali, Emily Koliandri, Ektoras Lygizos, Anna Mascha, Aris Balis and Areti Seidaridou.

The Great Tamer | Athens | To June 11

Involving 10 performers on stage, Dimitris Papaioannou's "The Great Tamer" takes shape around the notion that human life can be seen as a journey of discovery, in which we explore for hidden treasure, an inner excavation searching for meaning. The performance is conceived and directed by Papaioannou, who returns to the stage for the presentation of his latest work.

80s Quiz Night | Athens | March 31

The Onassis Cultural Center in Athens will host an 80s quiz night on Friday, March 31, starting at 8 p.m. Test your knowledge on the movies and music of the decade in a show presented by film critic Ilias Frangoulis. "It's Bingo Time" is organized on the sidelines of the #GR80s exhibition. Free admission.

Hybrids | Athens | To January 14

The Onassis Cultural Center in Athens, known as Stegi, is hosting "Hybrids: On the Borderline between Art and Technology," an exhibition suggested for visitors aged 12 and over. Running to January 14, the display explores the concept of hybridism, the mixing of different media and idioms to create new forms of artistic expression. Opening hours are from noon to 9 p.m. daily.

Greek Jazz Panorama | Athens | December 2-4

The Onassis Cultural Center in Athens, known as Stegi, is hosting its 6th Greek Jazz Panorama on December 2, 3 and 4. Taking part in the three-day event are local and foreign artists including pianists George Kontrafouris, Nikos Anadolis, Aki Rissanen and Spyros Manesis, bassist Joao Hasselberg and percussionist Kaspars Kurdeko. Performances start at 9 p.m.

Post Inferno - To Damascus | Athens | May 11-22

The Onassis Cultural Center in Athens, aka Stegi, presents "Post Inferno - To Damascus," a trilogy of plays penned by Sweden's August Strindberg. Shows will run May 11 to 22. Directed by Roula Pateraki, the trilogy is going on stage for the first time in Greece. The plays are based on existential, philosophical and theological dilemmas, autobiographical confessions and bouts of comedy.
