Council of Union Representatives approves UDMR's pullout from government by majority vote
The Council of Union Representatives of the Hungarian Democratic Union of Romania (UDMR) this Saturday approved by a broad majority (with just three votes against and seven abstentions) the proposal that the Union should pull out of government. The initial proposal for this move had been made on November 27, in Cluj, by UDMR's Standing Council.
Predoiu (PNL): We will reject budget on 2015

Junior Partner Leaves Romania Govt Coalition, PM Vows to Carry On
UDMR ethnic Hungarian party, a junior partner in Romania's government coalition, has decided to leave it following the defeat of Social Democrat Prime Minister Victor Ponta in presidential elections.
Yet, Ponta's centre-left coalition will stay in power as its remaining members - the Social Democrats and two junior partners - together control 332 of the 579 seats in Parliament.
UDMR decides to exit government
Chairman of the Hungarian Democratic Union of Romania (UDMR) Kelemen Hunor announced his formation will leave the government.
The decision was made in the northwestern city of Cluj-Napoca, by the UDMR Standing Council, after more than five hours of debates.
A final decision will be made by the Union Representatives Council (CRU) to take place on December 13.
