Serbian Scientist Risks Sack For Defending Evolution
The director of Serbia's Centre for the Promotion of Science, Nemanja Djordjevic, risks being fired after he called on the Minister of Education to respond to a petition seeking the exclusion of Darwin's theory of evolution from schools.
Month-Long Celebration of Belgrade's Architecture
Besides numerous exhibitions, the festival running from May 8 to 31 under the overarching theme of "Public Space", includes 16 workshops as well as 10 tours.
Alongside domestic experts in the field, the international guests at the festival are Hans Nevidal from Austria, Geir Brendeland from Norway and Zef Hemel from The Netherlands.
