Turkish-made training airplane Hürku? breaks speed record

A Turkish-made basic training aircraft called the Hürku?, which was designed and manufactured by Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI), set a record high speed of 659 kilometers per hour on Feb. 28 in a test flight in Ankara. 

The two-seat Hürku? began a dive from 27,000 feet (9,000 meters) at the test site, reaching a top speed of 659 km per hour during the dive.

Former DPS party chair Lyutvi Mestan has said he is ready for a "deep conversation" about the oligarchs that have dominated Bulgaria for years, but has added "Prime Ministers" should also be involved.

Turkish Air Force gets new electronic warfare system from ASELSAN

Turkey's leading defense system producer ASELSAN has handed over its newly developed and locally produced land-based radar electronic attack system KORAL to the Turkish Air Force.

A handing over ceremony was held at the defense company's Gölba?? facility in the capital Ankara, attended by Turkish Air Force commander Abidin Ünal.
