NS, SPS: Belgrade Waterfront to boost economy

BELGRADE - MPs of the ruling coalition have pointed out ahead of the debate on a draft lex specialis on Belgrade Waterfront in the Serbian parliament that this major project will boost Serbia's economy.

Aleksandra Tomic, member of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) - the leading party in the ruling coalition, told Tanjug that Belgrade Waterfront is a strategic project.

Govt: Terms for import and export of military equipment

BELGRADE - The ruling majority announced on Thursday that it will back the draft law on import and export of weapons and military equipment which defines the modes of trade, transit and transport and provision of broker services, while the opposition believes that the law should be adopted but they add that it should be rendered more modern and flexible.

Heads of delegations in parliamentary assemblies appointed

BELGRADE - The Serbian parliament appointed on Friday the heads of ten permanent delegations of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in international parliamentary institutions.

Parliament Speaker Maja Gojkovic has been appointed as the head of the Serbian parliament standing delegation to the Inter-Parliamentary Union.
