Alexandros Bourdoumis

The tribute to the late composer Mimis Plessas, who passed away just shy of his 100th birthday, filled the Pallas Theatre with heartfelt performances and nostalgic melodies.

The Brillante Classic Orchestra and singer Alexandros Bourdoumis will perform popular ballads associated with classic Greek films at the Papagou Garden Theater on Wednesday, July 26. The show starts at 9 p.m. and tickets cost 10 euros when purchased in advance (from the theater's box office or the Danaos store) or 12 euros at the door on the night.

Greek singer Despina Vandi has already announced that she will cast a leading role in the musical “Mamma Mia”. The very much loved musical will be performed at Acropol theatre in the fall. The rest of the casting crew are famous actors and artists, such as Alexandros Bourdoumis, Akis Sakellariou, Argyris Aggelou, Demy, Betty Maggira, Mariella Savvides and Aris Makris.
