Herzog speaks with Brnabic

BELGRADE - Israeli President Isaac Herzog, who is on an official visit to Serbia on Wednesday, spoke with Serbian Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabic in the National Assembly building in the afternoon.

After the meeting, Herzog and Brnabic toured the building and the Israeli president signed a guest book.

Brnabic: Herzog's visit to lend major impetus to development of Serbia-Israel ties

BELGRADE - Serbian Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabic said at a meeting with Israeli Ambassador to Belgrade Avivit Bar-Ilan she was confident Wednesday's visit to Serbia by Israeli President Isaac Herzog would lend a major impetus to a new stage in the development of Serbia-Israel bilateral relations.

Brnabic receives North Macedonian government delegation

BELGRADE - Serbian Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabic received a North Macedonian government delegation on Wednesday.

The parties concluded they would focus on implementing concrete projects and initiatives with the aim of further integration and advancement of bilateral relations, which they said would help regional stability and prosperity.

Brnabic: Kurti conducting open ethnic cleansing

BELGRADE - Serbian Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabic said on Wednesday Pristina's PM Albin Kurti was conducting a horrific campaign of open ethnic cleansing in Kosovo-Metohija.

"On one hand, I must say it is nice that everyone - both the US and the EU - is condemning that, but the question is: is that sufficient?" Brnabic told Prva TV.

Brnabic: No contract with Rio Tinto, it has exploration rights for Jadar project

BELGRADE - Serbian Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabic said on Tuesday the government of Serbia had no contract with Rio Tinto on the Jadar lithium mining project but that the mining company had had exploration rights for the project since 2004 but had still not applied for exploitation rights.

Brnabic: Foreign services politicised Jadar project in 2022 to slow down Serbia's development

BELGRADE - Serbian Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabic said on Wednesday foreign services had politicised the Jadar lithium mining project in 2022 to slow down Serbia's development.

Speaking at a press conference in the parliament building, Brnabic said what had happened in 2022 was a result of "games" by foreign services.

Brnabic: I am not working for private company but in interest of Serbian citizens

BELGRADE - Serbian Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabic said on Tuesday she was not working for a private company but in the interest of the citizens of Serbia and that she was not trying to get away from decisions she had made as PM in 2017 and 2022 regarding a lithium mining project in Serbia.
