Emerging from the golden era of straight-ahead and hard-bop jazz, Lundy stands as one of the most iconic and sought-after musicians on the contemporary jazz scene, known for his robust yet profoundly lyrical playing style.

American jazz trumpeter Wallace Roney - the only trumpet player personally mentored by Miles Davis and thus regarded as the legend's heir - will be playing at the Half Note Jazz Club from Friday to Monday, October 20 to 23. He will be joined by Oscar Williams II on piano, Emilio Modeste on tenor sax, Curtis Lundy on double bass and Eric Allen on drums. Shows start at 10.30 p.m.
