Citizens, opposition leaders pay tribute to Ivanovic

Ivanovic, a Serb politician in northern Kosovo, was gunned down by unknown perpetrators in front of his office in northern Kosovska Mitrovica early on Tuesday.

Opposition leaders, including Dragan Sutanovac, Boris Tadic, Zoran Zivkovic, Marinika Tepic, Vuk Jeremic, Sanda Raskovic-Ivic, Dijana Vukomanovic, and Dragan Djilas gathered in Belgrade in front of St. Sava's Temple.

Serbian MPs talk with Kazakh delegation

BELGRADE - Serbia's MPs and Kazakhstan's state delegation discussed on Thursday opportunities for improving comprehensive relations between the two countries even further, especially at economic level.

The Kazakh delegation invited Serbian parliamentarians to engage as observers in the presidential election scheduled to take place in Kazakhstan on April 26.

Vukomanovic: Serbs in Kosovo should go to polls

Heads of delegations in parliamentary assemblies appointed

BELGRADE - The Serbian parliament appointed on Friday the heads of ten permanent delegations of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in international parliamentary institutions.

Parliament Speaker Maja Gojkovic has been appointed as the head of the Serbian parliament standing delegation to the Inter-Parliamentary Union.

Most MP group leaders chosen

BELGRADE - The leaders and deputies of most of eleven MP groups in the new parliament have been chosen after the constitutive session of the Serbian parliament on Wednesday.

As Tanjug was told at the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS), Zoran Babic will again lead the party's MP group in the parliament, with Maja Gojkovic as his deputy.
