Regular people far outnumber foreigners in NSA spying: report

Regular Internet users, including Americans, far outnumber legally-targeted foreigners in electronic communications intercepted by the National Security Agency, The Washington Post reported Saturday.
      
The Post based their assertion on a four-month study of a large cache of NSA-intercepted electronic data provided by fugitive NSA contractor Edward Snowden.
      

Intelligence Leak Reveals US Surveillance in Balkans

The document published on Tuesday by the Washington Post said that the United States Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court in 2010 gave the National Security Agency, NSA the right to target every country in the world recognised by the US except Britain, Canada, New Zealand and Australia.

The document was part of a cache leaked by former NSA contractor Edward Snowden.

Oliver Stone to Make Film on Whistleblower Edward Snowden

Hollywood filmmaker Oliver Stone has announced he will direct a movie on fugitive whistleblower and former NSA contractor Edward Snowden.

The script will be an adaptation of a book by the Guardian's Luke Harding called The Snowden Files: The Inside Story of the Most Wanted Man, according to the British daily's website.
