MHP calls for electronic voting following election dispute
Türkiye's top election watchdog has dismissed the Nationalist Movement Party's (MHP) bid to annul the recent local elections in the Aegean province of Kütahya, prompting calls for electronic voting in the country.

Türkiye's top election authority has confirmed the victory of the main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) candidate in Kütahya despite a recount, while ordering reelections in multiple districts across the country following objections lodged after the local elections on March 31.
Istanbul bridge illuminated for organ donation
The Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge, one of the three bridges connecting Istanbul's European and Asian sides, was illuminated in green to draw attention to organ donation on Nov. 9.

30,000 patients waiting for organ transplants in Turkey
Some 30,000 patients are currently waiting for organ transplants in Turkey, with approximately 2,000 of them losing their lives each year in the process, according to statistics released from the World Health Organization (WHO).
A total of 4,552 organ transplants were made in 2015 in Turkey, the statistics also showed.
