The Greek-American entrepreneur, co-publisher of Nea Proini and former White House director of scheduling and advance (early in the Trump administration) was commenting on the state of ferryboat transportation in Greece this summer.

A new luxury full-service transportation company was launched on Wednesday that caters to tourists, business executives and VIPs. 'Dynamis Transportation Hellas' was launched by two Greek-Americans and their two Greek partners.

New organization to highlight persecution of Christians
The Orthodox Public Affairs Committee (OPAC) was officially launched Wednesday in Washington DC.
The organization aims to "expose and combat the persecution of Christians around the globe," according to a statement it released.

I have to admit that it sounded kind of crazy when I first heard the news that George Gigicos, one of US President Donald Trump's key campaign staffers in the runup to the 2016 elections, was in Greece helping New Democracy candidate Sofia Nikolaou in her campaign for a seat in Parliament in general elections later this year.

Trump fires longtime Greek-American aide over poor rally turnout, report says
George Gigicos has been removed as Donald Trump's rally organizer, Bloomberg reports claiming that the US President was allegedly upset at the crowd size and TV coverage during last week's rally at Phoenix, Arizona.
The Greek American, a contractor to the Republican National Committee, had been one of the four longest-serving political aides to the president.
